 Introduction


Greetings and peace to you all. My name is Tyrone Crew. I am a peace minister and founder of Peace Pattern Ministry. I was diagnosed with Generalized Anxiety Syndrome when I was 19 years old. I was told to go on medication. I refused and found meditation and a connection to what I believe to be the creator of creation, as being peace in my life. 

      I struggled with my sexuality being a gay black man growing up in Cleveland, Ohio. I also struggled with religion and suicide, until I decided to take control of myself and my life. Peace has kept me sane and stable my whole life. I mostly was a recluse growing up. Today I live a peaceful life. My anxiety is under control without medication. When I look at the world today, I see the struggles of people who want to live in peace and are led by religions that don't cater to the peace they are looking for. I feel the need to help in a peaceful way. I have been through the religious struggle of finding the freedom of self and creator. 

     When being a gay black man in a religion that shuns such ideas of relationships, it is difficult to find peace. Today I found freedom and a relationship with the Creator based on truth being the Creator and me being created. I live now with a peaceful understanding of mind, body, and spirit. I want to help people who are like me and don't know who to talk to or where to turn. I want to help others find that inner peace with the creator being truth, so they can live their best lives and be their best selves. I believe I am living proof you are deserving of peace in your life your way.
